Monthly Performance Report

November 2022

Prepared by OTS Service Evaluation

·         Ridership

Average weekday ridership for the month of November 2022 was 122,740, up by 15,583 or 14% from the previous year. Fiscal year-to-date ridership is at 16,383,151, up by 15% from the previous year.

Ridership continues to recover in 2022 and is still approximately 37 percent lower than pre-pandemic level.

·         On-Time Performance

System-wide on-time performance is at 68.6% for the month of November 2022. The drop in on-time performance can be attributed to school going back in session and a gradual economic recovery. Out of 107 total routes, 36 routes exceeded on-time performance at 80% and zero performed under 50%.

The DTS and OTS Service Review Committee reviews service levels, including on-time performance monthly.

·         Maintenance

As a result of the COVID pandemic, the spare ratio is above our normal 20% requirement due to low ridership. The fleet size has been decreased from 520 to 466 vehicles. We project that at this quantity we will come close to meeting our spare ratio requirements when rail service begins.

·         Service Modifications

Service modifications to the following routes were implemented with the August sign-up and remain in effect until the December sign-up.

-       Route E made detour permanent;

-       Route U1 new route that only provides service on school days;

-       Route 2L implemented zoom service;

-       Trips were added to the following routes:
